Clause in a Freehold Lease - Please Help!

Hello
The lease on a property I am looking to purchase has a clause that my solicitors has advised would make it 'difficult' to get a mortgage:
Landlords Covenants
2.3) To enforce obligations in the lease of the Other Maisonettes
The Landlord may and will, if so requested by the Tenant, enforce the obligations on the part of the Tenants of the Other Maisonette similar to those contained in Schedule 4.
Tenants Covenants
4) Repayment of the Landlord
If the Landlord makes a payment to a third party for which the Tenant is responsible under this lease, the Tenat must repay the Landlord when requested to do so.
My solicitor said without seeing the other lease I cannot be sure that the Landlord is obliged to enforce the repair covenant.
The property is a ground floor flat of a two storey conversion.
Any help really appreciated, I cannot afford for this to go wrong as I have a deposit at stake.

I am sorry, but I think that you really need to be guided by your existing conveyancing solicitors on this point. I personally would have thought you were entitled to see the lease - it is referred to and would affect you - indirectly, if you purchased.
