I live in tied accommodation provided by my employer, in my terms and conditions it states that 'this accommodation is provided free of charge to you' and after seven and a half years my employer is trying to make me pay for my heating and electric, where do I stand

It is a tricky one. Depends on what "accomodation" covers? I think there is the argument that after 7.5 years, that utilities were part of the "wage" and as such, there is an argument that to refuse to pay amounts to an unlawful deduction from salary. careful consideration of all the terms, including any statement of terms and conditions would be needed.
