Hi,

We are looking into setting up a scheme in which we would raise the money to buy land by selling 'shares' to friends and family. A nominated executor would then buy land for us in their name and we would pay rent to them until the share holders had received back their money plus interest. Once this had been done, we would buy the land from the nominated executor for a token fee. Would this system be legal? There is a reason we'd not be able to have the deeds in our names initially.
